Nobuya "Nobby" Yoshida

Chief Executive Officer

Nobby Yoshida is a proven, international executive and has achieved excellent results at several global companies. Nobby has been a member of our Board of Directors since 2002. Currently, Nobby is an Advisor to SoftBank Investment Corporation, a publicly traded investment company in Japan. He also served as the Chief Operating Officer of TransDigital Corporation, a publicly traded Japanese technology company. Prior to that Nobby co-founded CyberLink Japan, a subsidiary of CyberLink Corporation, a world leader in advanced digital video and audio software. Nobby also served as the General Manager and subsequently a board director at Trend Micro in Japan, a publicly traded security software company (NASDAQ: TMIC). Nobby holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from California State University at Los Angeles.

Alan Shoap

Chief Operating Officer

Alan Shoap brings more than 20 years of enterprise software expertise in product management, software engineering, and staff operations to IPLocks. Alan was most recently Vice President of Operations for Blazent, Inc., and prior to that was Vice President of Worldwide Marketing for Euclid, Inc. His past management experience includes operating and product-related executive roles at Borland, Cendura, iSharp Corporation and Compuware. Alan holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Computer Science and Mathematics.

Adrian Lane

Chief Technology Officer

Adrian Lane is responsible for shaping the technology vision for future generations of IPLocks' solutions and operations. Mr. Lane a 19-year industry veteran, specializes in database architecture and security, having worked for Ingres, Oracle and Unisys. Prior to joining IPLocks, Adrian was the Vice President of Engineering at Touchpoint, an on-line marketing firm where he was responsible for all software development and ERP deployment. Mr. Lane spent three years as the CTO of the on-line brokerage CPMi, and two years as the CTO of the security software and digital rights management firm Brodia. Mr. Lane is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley with post-graduate work in operating systems at Stanford University.

Ed Kam

Controller and Corporate Secretary

Ed Kam has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting in the high-tech and financial industries. Prior to joining IPLocks as Controller, Mr. Kam was the Controller at SeeItFirst.com where he was responsible for worldwide accounting, finance and legal. In addition, Mr. Kam has held various analytical, managerial and business development positions at GE Capital and Bank of Hawaii. Mr. Kam holds Bachelor Degrees in Finance and Computer Science and is a graduate of the University of Hawaii with a MBA in International Business.

Jane Zhu, Ph.D.

Vice President, Engineering

Dr. Jane Zhu is responsible for leading all aspects of product development and product support at IPLocks. Dr. Zhu brings with her more than 15 years of leadership experience in enterprise software and application development. Dr. Zhu most recently served as Vice President of Engineering for Borland where she led significant and rapid expansion of their Requirement Definition and Management product line, and Application Middleware product line. Prior to Borland, Dr. Zhu held senior management positions at both Crescendos and Compuware. In these roles, she was instrumental in the creation of next generation of service center application and network application monitoring technologies. Dr. Zhu holds a B.S and an M.S. in Computer Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, a Ph.D. in Operations Research from Kansas State University.

David Mills

Vice President, Worldwide Sales

David Mills is responsible for leading the sales teams at IPLocks and brings with him more than 18 years of leadership experience in international sales and marketing, having held senior positions at Toshiba, Memorex Telex and Wyse. In his previous roles, David has managed successful sales teams selling to both corporate customers and indirect channels through out the world.

Akio Sakamoto

Founder

Akio Sakamoto founded IPLocks in 2002, with over 30 years of technology-related business experience with global companies. Mr. Sakamoto has extensive expertise in operations, sales, marketing, business development and product development working with companies such as NEC, HolonTech and Auraline. At NEC Corporation he was successful in creating, managing and growing several divisions within the company. During his tenure, Mr. Sakamoto developed several new business units that produced over 100 million dollars of revenue. Relocating to the U.S. in 1987 he led the US business activities, worldwide R&D and sales programs for the company as General Manager at the Network Division of NEC America. Prior to establishing IPLocks, was the CEO at Auraline, Inc., and CEO/Founder at HolonTech Corporation. Mr. Sakamoto holds over 35 patents.
